Ordered the 2100 DV CC mid-September and received a couple of weeks ago. Splashed it today!! Been busy performing some upgrades including 36 volt Terrova TM powered by lithium batteries, installed 2 on board chargers (1 for lithium TM batteries, 1 MinnKota Precision for starting batteries), TM mounted on 12 inch UHD Shuttle Slide with 4 inch reach adapter. It is off to a fabricator at the end of this month for a fly fishing friendly small footprint T Top. Moved up from an 1801 and am very impressed with the ride improvement in a tight chop. No fish today as the water temps were at 40 degrees. Will include additional pictures when the upgrades are complete. Highly recommend Shutlle Slide....high quality product with fantastic customer support.2100 first splash.jpg

Congrats on the new boat.... she is a beauty! Yes, send more pictures with the upgrades....

How did the 72" shaft minn kota perform? Did you see a need for the 87". I know you haven't had a chance to try it all conditions but just wondering your initial thoughts. I am about to pull the trigger and I'm still on the fence on the 72" or 87".

The TM is mounted but not connected to power yet. I have no idea how an 87 inch would fit on the boat without either the foot or head hanging off. I used a shuttle slide 12 inch UHD mount with a 4 inch reach extension adapter. This allowed the motor to stay along the starboard washboard and not cross the bow. By mounting a bit back from the bow a few inches are gained due to lower hull height and less movement in a chop. Mounting this way did not require moving nav light and the anchor locker is operable in the deployed and stowed TM positions. The shuttle slide is a quality piece and the customer service is the best. I had many discussions with them before pulling the trigger. Time will tell what type chop it will handle but after having the 72 mounted I really do not see an 87 on that boat without being in the way.

IC, awesome to see the new boat. I'm extremely curious about the Shuttle Slide TM mount. I'm trying to figure out a way to use one so that the foot of the motor in the full inboard position will sit a bit inboard of the edge of the covering boards, so that my cover would still fit over it. Would you be able to post some more pictures of your installation in the fully extended/deployed vs. fully stowed positions?

That is what I have for now. My motor sits about 1.5 inches outside the boat. The control head is fully inside the boat but close. My goal was to stay on one side of the boat to keep the anchor hatch, bow light and cleat usable. Problem I had was reaching the 6 mounting bolts and putting on a backing plate. Not fun.

Thanks for the pictures! That's a very similar install to what I'm planning. I don't have the anchor locker hatch so I have a bit more flexibility in location. Based on your pictures, I think I'd try to get a longer slide if that's an option, so as to pull the foot of the motor further inboard. I'll have to work with Shuttle Slide to see if they have something that would fit my application.

I used a 4.25 reach adapter...the owner told me they also have a 6.25 reach adapter that is available but not listed on their website. That may work in combination with a 14 inch UHD slide. I was limited with how far my motor slid back before the control head would extend over the side of the boat. Tricky to figure out exactly what you need when you are playing with an unmounted TM...heavy and it likes to slide around. Good luck with your install!
