Hello everyone, I was just curious if anyone has ever seen or enclosed the transom on an 1801 and added an engine bracket.

Also, I am looking for an older one with a newer motor…

No...The boat is to small in length.... If you did that, it would upset the balance of the boat....Typically the shortest length would be 22ft for adding a Bracket.
 
I saw somewhere that someone did that to an 18' (not a parker) with a custom built bracket. They removed the console and installed a dog house forward to correct the balance. Seems like a lot of investment for an 18'. Their original idea was to mount twin 75's but we know how that would work out.
