I apprecaite the words of wisdom. I was hoping that the top of the ram would be mounted as to where the wire would actually enter/exit through the two battery battery compartments in the rear corners of the boat. Is that going to be possible ?
I know I should have installed them years ago but I have finally decided to install tabs on my 21 mod v Parker. I have decided to go with Lenco. Now I need to decide what size. I read all through the archives but most of the tab topics are about larger 25 fts. Any suggestions on what size...
Bungees on mine as well right now - and I hate it. Rediculious.
If the good lord is willing come this winter I am going to cut that lip down to just above flush and install a piano hinge on the port and starboard sides.

I am seriously considering enclosing my cut out transom and installing a bracket on my 1989 21 ft. cc. I have just begun my research and have not yet called Parker to speak with an engineer. I am sure this subject has been discussed here before but does anyone have any experience with...
I have a 21 ft 1989 Souwester/Parker. i have a soft spot in my floor between the console and the stern. I will be making this repair this coming winter. But as I make plans I have begun to consider removing what I call the battery boxes located on each side of the boat at the stern. But...

I have been using Collinite fleetwax on the hull, console, and engine for three years. Very good product and I highly reccommend it.
Now I want to wax the interior surfaces of my boat. I use Woody wax on my T top, leaning post and other brightwork. On the bottle it tells how you can...
I saw a new Parker on the water at Cape Lookout this past Sunday. It had a ice blue hull and I could see the new chrome Parker on the side. It looked really nice.

Thanks for the reply. I got to thinking more about how you did the install ( after I posted ) and it began to dawn on me that what you did was 100 % water proof with no way for water to enter the core of the boat.
Now that I understand the process and know a first class vs a cheap way...
