I was told my the mechnanic (yamaha certified) who worked on my HPDI that the optimum is 4000 RPM. If I go to 5000 I will be burning twice as much gas (10gallons per hour opposed to 20 gallons per hour).

that seems like a great idea. I have the same problem.

3 is good, 4 I find a little tight. But I like to cast to fish feeding on the surface. The thought has crossed my mind to upgrade to a 25, just for a little more room.

Yeah. Mine has the same set up. When my buddy saw it he was insisting it was meant as a livewell. I use mine to store lines.

Loved The Fishing Hole with Jerry McKinnis. He used to shoot in film rather than the cheaper video. He had a nice laid back style and gave good tips.

I have my radio down by the binnacle. Not really crazy about the location because if I want to change settings (e.g. activate the hailer or search channels) I have to look down. It's distracts me from paying attention to steering the craft. Not much room on a 2320; but I would think on a 2520...

Is there another name for Ling Cod on the East Coast? When I google it; the descriptioin states it's a West Coast fish?

I was just told by a yamaha dealer that he is no longer recommending putting Stratron in the fuel tanks. He feels it causes other problems (e.g. fuel injection cloggs). Anybody hear the same thing?

Sounds like a very fair price to me. Especially with a 2007 engine and trailer.
