    Thanks, fellas. This is helpful.

    tuffcoat

Any experience out there with TuffCoat Marine or other rubberized nonskid coating for interior decks? Marine epoxy with grit like Monster grip? The old webbed gel coating (pictured, and probably not original) on my 1990 25 CC is starting to peel in places, so I'm looking at DIY options for a...

    1990 25 CC parker

I'm guessing mid to upper 30s top speed, but not really sure. She's a pretty fast hull. I sent the serial # to the parker engineers for power recommendation prior to putting the motor on. She was originally rated for 150-225 hp, so I settled on the 200.

    1990 25 CC parker

I'm thinking of selling my 1990 25"4" Parker CC. Beam is 9.5 feet. Dead rise in stern is 14 inches and the boat drafts 12 inches with a 2012 Honda 200 HP outboard with about 260 hours. Floor and transom are solid. It has removable bow cushions with plenty of storage in hatches underneath...

    bottom paint problems?

Three years ago, I had my 1990 25 ft cc parker bottom stripped down to the gel coat, new barrier coat put on, and coated with high quality ablative anti-fouling paint at Pamlico Boat and Fiberglass Repair. Cost was about $1200. Got 2 seasons in the water out of it, early May through mid...

    world record striper

Caught this whopper on my ultralight fishing for White Perch. 1st fish of 2015. Happy new year! Peter Boettger 25 ft Parker CC Greenville, NC

    25 CC cover?

Will be taking my 1990 Parker 25 CC (no t-top) out of the water in mid november and have looked around a bit to find a strong, durable light weight cover for it, but not having much luck on the web. I do use the boat 1-2 times each winter so I do not want a major project taking it off/on. Last...

    old drum

My sons, Joey and Marc, and I were cruising on Delilah out of the Pungo River onto the Pamlico sound at 6AM on Saturday when we spotted some tremendous activity further out. Dolphins or rays? No fins showing. Tarpon? Nope. As we moved in quietly we saw the new penny copper of old reds as...

    pamlico pups

My older son Joey finished a 5 year stint in the Marine Corp last December, and has been in a real drought for catching fish since that time. But a couple weeks ago he broke the curse and caught these two pups a few minutes apart on very light tackle. On the larger one we actually had to back...

    transom replacement cost?

Ouch, guys! Warthog, not sure exactly what you mean by "derig", but I'm assuming everything and anything associated with the transom or in close proximity will have to be taken apart and set aside, then put back. Since I am a minimalist it will be very basic stuff. Thanks for the responses.

    transom replacement cost?

I'm thinking the conventional notched transom on my 1990 25 cc will be fine for a couple more years, but some little things are making me think that it may need replacement in the next 3-4 years. Any ball park figures or ranges on what it should cost for someone to do a competent job? Thanks...

1991 parker 25 what do you think?

I have a 1990 25 CC that I'm in love with, but I'm not an off-shore fisherman, pretty much stay in the Pamlico Sound, and sometimes in close to the beach when in the ocean. I believe the 1991 model is still before Parker came out with the SE hulls, and is a 14 degree deadrise, vs the 16 degrees...

    fall stripers in lower chesapeake

I've been thinking of hauling my 25 cc to the Va Beach area this fall to put her in dry dock, and have it there for the fall and winter run of big ocean/lower bay stripers in the CBBT area and outward. Ive been thinking about mid-November. Or is that too early? Anybody know about when that...

What new model would you like to see Parker make?

I'd like to see them start selling the bare bones "commercial" hulls that stopped in 2009.

    pungo old drum

We finally found the old drum! Went to three different spots starting at about 5PM After an hour at the 3rd spot, about 11PM, I was ready to throw in the towel. But then the moon came up and bam!...it was on. Caught a 42", a 43", lost two, and a 5th one snapped off. Must have been a real...

    protection

I've never been much on T tops, but wanted a quick way to get out of the sun or rain that was an easy set-up and allowed as much freedom of movement as possible. I may be a nerd, but its working out quite well so far. 1990 25 CC

Proud to own my first Parker. 25CC

Hi WharfRat. Welcome! In fall of 2011 I bought the 1990 version of your boat. She was bought from a guide down in the naples area and was pretty rough, but the floor and transom were solid. Your boat looks to be in much better shape. I did a lot of work, and sunk in alot of money, including...

    marines take the pungo

Here are some pics from last weekend of two U. S. Marines and their wives (Caleb/Samantha and Jared/Faye) that bid for my cottage and fishing trip aboard "Delilah" at the Pamlico-Tar River Foundation oyster roast last fall. 1st class people and an honor to spend time with them. Peter...

    pamlico trout

Here are some samples of the speckled trout we've been catching in the creeks along the Pamlico this month. Have been using the jon boat, but they are starting to move out into the big water now, so will be dropping Delilah into her slip soon. Peter Boettger Greenville, NC Parker 1990 25 cc
