    SOLD - 2007 2120 Parker, 150HP 4S, Trailer, Many extras

A number of people have asked about the toilets in the Parkers. My solution (never had to use but is perfect if we needed it) is the folding camping toilet seat & Wag Bags which all fit in a cover & store easily out of the way. The Wag Bags have everything in them - a bag for the toilet, toilet...

    cockpit sunshade ideas and pics?

The design I had in the above photos has held up quite well as it still looks the same as when I made it. Not sure I mentioned before, but when I am trailering it a distance, I simply open the velcro flaps and remove the material off the frame leaving the frame in place. I had worried some that...

    VHF radio install

Second photo down on this old post shows my Icom VHF radio mounted in the corner of the strd. windows. The radio is splash resistant and it has been soaked a number of times with no problems. Mike mounted above it keeps the cord out of the way and within easy reach to grab the mike to talk or to...

    Bolt on Yanmar diesel engine

Assume a gasoline engine would be lot lighter and cheaper as a bolt on module. Swap modules for different objectives. Makes the 25 footer a 29 or30 ft. Boat?................Pete

    Bolt on Yanmar diesel engine

http://www.proboat.com/bolt-on-diesel-power.html Hope the link works to see the bolt on Yanmar diesel for a 25 Parker. If not go to www.proboat.com to see the photos & article. For those who thirst for a diesel or are repowering, could be a competitive option.............Pete

2004 yammy 225 speedo and gas gauge question.....

I would call a Yammie engineer to discuss it. I have had super info from them for the last 5 years with a wide variety of questions. Last number I had is: 1-866-894-1626 Good luck.....................Pete

    2012 2120 Sport Cabin power

When I bought my 2007 2120, I talked to Parker and to Yamaha about the 150 vs. the 200. Seemed to me that the Yammie engineer knew the most about performance, speed, torque, etc. Bottom line for me was that 1) Yammie thought the 150 had the latest and best engineering 2) The 200 would add about...

    Batteries

Ah isn't it great we all have our own opinions about how we manage our boats and our lives and that there is usually not a right or a wrong. The only time my battery switch is on BOTH is if I cannot start the engine on battery #1 or #2 and this is my desperation option to use BOTH at the same...

    2320 Outboard motor mounting height

Dale posted a very clever way to raise (or lower) the motor using a trailer. Block up the motor and make sure the trailer wheels are blocked too, remove the motor bolts then crank the trailer up at the bow thus lowering the back end till the bolt holes line up - as I remember his post. I was...

Parker 2120 pull tube or ski

When I bought my 2120 new in 2007, I did a lot of research on the 150 4S vs. the 200 for the boat. After a number of discussions with Yamaha and Parker dealers and this forum, I bought the 150 and have been very pleased. The 200 would have added 2 MPH to my top end speed (40 MPH vs. 38 MPH...

Best Choice of Radar for a 2120?

I have been very pleased with my multifunction nav display as I can have the radar alone or overlay the chart on the radar which doubles my confidence in narrow quarters in fog. Also shows water temp, GPS speed, depth, etc. and has great choices for which screen I want or combinations of...

Who is the PARKER hero? A Pilothouse named "Merlin" ?

As the diver surfaces and swims toward the sinking boat, it looks like the bow anchor has not been used on this dive? Looks like a line is running off the port side that might have been used as an anchor line? If so, would certainly have been a contributing factor to taking water in the stern...

    Horn repair

I like big horns on a small boat. My air horns always work perfectly unless it is below freezing and the air valve slows up. Still blows but starts slow & ends slow when that cold. A light tap on the switch is all I ever need to blow, even at the big guys....................Pete
