Parker OEM coated gas tank?

I was wondering if some of you who are familiar with the parker brand could help me out. I own a 2018 2100CC. When I look through the inspection hatch at the gas tank it looks like it is coated with a gray paint. Have parker tanks always been coated? What type of coating is it? I'm hoping this will help give my tank many years of trouble free operation!

Following...the 2018 1801 I just sold also had some sort of gray coating. Looked like epoxy to me but not sure. Just waiting for the new 2100 dvcc to be built.

If it was Gray.....It probably was a Epoxy coating. They stepped their game up some.
