    2012 Boat Shows

Went to the one in Virginia Beach yesterday. Talked to Linwood for a while. After looking at the boats, I can say in my opinion, that the Parker's were the best looking boats at the show! He mentioned that possibly the 34 may be included in future shows. Joe

    Wannabe from Chesapeake, Va

John, Just read your post. I have an older 94 2520 and keep it at Vining's Landing Marina. Hope you enjoy your Parker. If you are going to trailer the boat, please remember your boat will be over the legal limit and you will have to get an oversize permit for trailering. I had considered...

    New York to Virginia

In Norfolk, there is Little Creek Marina and Vinings Landing Marina. They are both located in Little Creek (across the inlet from each other) and are both owned by Vinings Marine. There is a price difference between the 2 marinas. They offer both slips and dry storage. It is a quick trip to...

    INFATUATION - not boat related

I always wanted a 1970 Dodge Challenger the same as in the movie "Vanishing Point." I almost bought one when I was in high school. It had a 383 six pack with Hurst 4 on the floor, air shocks but.. I probably would have killed myself in it. Too much power!!

    Replacement Stern Light

You might think I am a little crazy but here is an idea to try. Get a piece of square stock 1" x 1" (or 1 1/2 x 1 1/2). Rip it in half. Use a router to cut a groove in the wood for the wiring. Glue it back together and then put it on a lathe to make it round. You now have a basically a...

    Where to mount EPERB?

I keep mine in the ditch bag hanging on the back of the seat.

    Possible stupid radar mount question.

I believe I put a response on THT about this. I used the foam gasket supplied with my radar mount to act as a type of "shock abosrber" to reduce vibration on the radome. I put 4200 around the bolt holes to prevent water intrusion in to the roof of my pilothouse roof.
