My repair guy tells me the problem is with the DSM300. I've heard from others that the DSM300 has had some problems over the years. It is no longer sold by Raymarine. Anyone know of a replacement that is compatible with the C120 system?

No, no signs of physical damage. The marina checked it out when the boat was hauled last fall. In fact, they removed it to see if they could see any damage and they could not. They re-installed it this spring and boat splashed. It lives on a mooring. Same symptoms as last fall.

Thanks for the replies. That buss bar setup is very nice. However, for the short term, I'll go with the butt connector with heat shrink. They have those connections at West Marine, so I am good to go. Thanks again.

Chad, The seat is permanently mounted to the transom. When folded, the backrest is sort of like a coaming pad, and the bench part hangs vertical under it. When folded it does not hit the floor, so a bloody mess on the floor wouldn't bother it. However, it is vinyl and you can wash crap off...

I have the Parker folding bench on my 2510. I love it. When fishing, it folds out of the way and serves as sort of coaming pads in the transom. Very high quality. I recommend it.
