    Realistic price ???

I'm in the same boat (well, two boats so to speak). I just bought a DE and am trying to sell my 2510. I also own it free and clear. Part of the problem is that it's hard for motivated buyers to find motivated sellers. There are so many similar boats on the market with jerks on both sides of...

Be Careful Out There in Your Parker

Funny that. I just bought a 35' downeast, and when I went to get quotes from insurance agents one of them told me a number of insurers were balking at the jump in length of boat (25 to 35 feet). I had to give them additional info on my experience to get some quotes. Hopefully, this is a trend...

Spring prep is in full swing!

I'm way ahead of the curve up here. Bottom is sanded, barrier coated and painted. New lights are on, and the cover is way off. I'm moving on to detailing. I want the boat perdy for buyers. I showed it a few times this winter under the cover and it wasn't at it's best, so I've been rushing...

is this a classic parker member?

Possibly, but just as possibly not for long. The way it's being painted in the news, it wasn't the wisest of nautical decisions a skipper could have made. Maybe they just spun it because of the Florida incident, it's not like the press reports facts anymore, but it does seem a tad reckless on...

    Whats My Parker Worth

SO many variables makes it hard to compete for buyers attention: MV vs. DV Twins vs. Single 2S vs. 4S Newer vs. older hull with modern power Electronics - Top tier vs. Wally World And the buyers mostly don't know and don't care about the differences when they look by price. Oh they care when...

    AC boatshow

game, I'm under no illusions that the ride of the Cabo would be equal to a CC, but to compare the Cabo to a boat that is 7 feet shorter, 15,000 pounds lighter and has a considerable portion of its weight distribution hanging off the transom just doesn't make any sense. There is NO way the ride...

    AC boatshow

I'm split three ways here. One is a carolina classic 35/henriques/cabo express, another is a cabo/henriques flybridge, and I'm also still drawn to a downeast. Confusion? Yeah, I have that also. ;)

    AC boatshow

I saw the 34 at the new england boat show. Something about it just didn't feel right, not sure what it was. The cockpit was certainly huge, but the ob's and platform were also huge - much bigger than on my 25 and I suspect would get in the way fishing (the 25 is no problem with twins and...

    $10k Reduction -’91 Parker 2510 DV w Twin 2006 Yamaha F150’s

This model came with a factory installed livewell in the deck (~35 or 40 gallons). The livewell never really worked very well, it was nearly cubic and the bait fish didn't survive well in it. It was located pretty much dead center in the cockpit directly aft of the primary tank. The aux tank...

    $10k Reduction -’91 Parker 2510 DV w Twin 2006 Yamaha F150’s

Ok Gang, I need to help the economy and buy a bigger boat. This is your chance for a fully offshore rigged PArker with added range!!!!

    Potential new owner

I've got a 2510 with twin f150's (same hull as the 2520dv), and I do use the engines against each other to pull out of my slip, but not to dock. It's just the way I do it, maybe not the way someone else would. My fairway is actually slightly narrower than the length of my boat with pulpit and...

    fwd bilge pump

One solution is to add shore power and leave your batteries on. The other is to not worry about it. Parker didn't used to even add the pump, but people seemed to rest easier with it I guess. In reality, unless your boat becomes forward weighted for some reason, the water will drain aft...

    Autopilot questions

Fwiw, you want the S1G, not the S1 computer. It will hold a course much better than the S1. I installed mine. It wasn't hard, and the bulk of the project was figuring out where to get the parts for the hydraulic connections (it turns out that seastar has pre-made hoses and fiting kits). My...

    Yamaha fuel managemenat guages

You can adjust the flow rate readout in increments via the dip switches on the back of the guage. It's a trial and error type of adjustment. I don't think it's a reserve issue. It just needs a calibration tweak.
