    Transom Drain?

    Should the transom drain area in the picture have some paint/sealant or something on it to keep water from entering this area. It seems to me water in the bilge resting on the bare area around the drain would eventually rot this area??? Help with input on what if anything should be done. Thanks.

    Pull up cleat install and other installs

    Finally drilled the first holes in the boat for the 4.5 inch pull up cleats. :shock: For those wondering this section is 3/4 inch thick. I saved the plug and can take a photo if you want to see it. We mounted the rod holders on the front grab handle for now, will wait to see how it works out...
